NINA DUONG HAUTE COUTURE DRESSES MOVIE STARS

Nina Duong Haute Couture Wedding Gown And Bridesmaids’ Dresses To Appear in Canadian Film Center Short Movie “Shutterbug”.

TORONTO, ONTARIO (May 31, 2007) – In addition to dressing brides, Nina Duong is also dressing movie stars! Nina Duong Haute Couture (NDHC) creations will be shown in “Shutterbug”, a film produced by the Canadian Film Centre (CFC), at a special screening on Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Manulife Center, at 7PM.

Nina Duong is proud to support CFC and the growing talent of actors and directors. The movie “Shutterbug” is a short film about a wedding photographer, who shoots pictures of other people’s love. NDHC supplied an exquisite “Linda” wedding gown to be shown in the film. The “Linda” gown is special because it is so elegantly designed; it is a strapless, ivory, doupioni silk gown, featuring crystal bugle beads that outline the neckline, a voluminous hand-draped skirt with crystal beading, and a chapel train the bustles.

“It’s always exciting to see a bride’s eyes light up when she finds her perfect dress, but to see one of our dresses on the big screen is a new thrill for us,” shared Nina Duong, Designer. “We are very proud to participate in this project,” she added, “Any bride who wants to be treated like a movie star would be right at home at Nina Duong Haute Couture.”

Other celebrities that enjoyed Nina Duong creations include Jamie Salé and Neelam Verma. Jamie Salé, Canadian Figure Skater and Olympic Gold Medal winner, wore Nina Duong creation “Monique” on the cover of Today’s Bride Magazine. Neelam Verma, Miss Universe Canada 2002, wore NDHC gowns during her pageant tour.
